mini vs maxi

i am in a serious pickle about dresses right now. i hate them all. what the fuck is going on with this season right? i mean everything is totally pretty and such but i just don't feel like anything is wearable. maybe thats because we stressed about finding a dress for some serious events... here is what we have going so far...

and i really don't love it as i like to say. what to do?
