art school or art?

i've been having this really funny dilemma recently where i want to go to my art school classes but i have an opportunity to be involved in actual art that the class i am going to would be hypothetically training me for.... whadya think? is art school useless? that aside, i've been busy, i just realized that i've only really been in nyc for a month so all things considered i guess i am going pretty good. i'm not leaving yet, well at least i'm not moving, but i am getting antsy... so off i go for a week to jolly ol' london (its just as cold as here but not sunny, great). I guess we all get a little wanderlust every once and a while.
